Four Basic Categories From TianBonsai
Tian Bonsasi tools fall into four basic categories: Standard, Professional, Master and Master Craftsman Series.

Master Craftsman Series (below is the grade mark on the tools handle)

Master Craftsman Series bonsai tools, is the newest series from TianBonsai, it's a special gift for the master. this series tools, were hand made by the master craftsman from TianBonsai. material is 9Cr25MoV alloy steel, this material, contains Molybdenom, Vanadium, 0.9% Carbon and 2.5% Chromium, after quenching treatment, it's hardness is over HRC62, have high intensity, strong tenacity and wearability.

Master's Grade (below is the grade mark on the tools handle)

Master's Grade tools, were manufactured via 5Cr15MoV ally steel and high-carbon steel, handmade by the master worker from TianBonsai.
About 5Cr15MoV alloy steel, strictly speaking it's not the real non-rust steel, it is more advanced alloy material.

As the good material for the bonsai tools, would need with high intensity, strong tenacity and wearability, so our Master's Grade tools were manufactured via the 5Cr15MoV alloy steel. this material, contains Molybdenom, Vanadium, 0.5% Carbon and 1.5% Chromium, after quenching treatment, it's hardness is over HRC58, have high intensity, strong tenacity and wearability.
But, please note one condition, because of this material contained 0.5% Carbon, it's surface still would be rusting. but because of it also contained the Chromium, the Chromium will formation a layer passivation film to protecting the body of tools and never let it rusting. so, if you don't tending your tools after long time used, perhaps you will find your tools have a bit rusty, don't worry, the rust only on the surface, it never injure your tools.

Professional Grade (below is the grade mark on the tools handle)

Professional Grade tools, material is 4Cr13MoV alloy steel and high-carbon steel, handmade by professional technicians from TianBonsai.
About 4Cr13MoV alloy steel, it slightly inferior to 5Cr15MoV alloy steel, but it also as the good material for the bonsai tool, contains Molybdenom, Vanadium, 0.4% Carbon and 1.3% Chromium, after quenching treatment, it's hardness is over HRC55, also with high intensity, strong tenacity and wearability.

Beginner grade (There is no grade mark on the handle)
To popularize the bonsai art, TianBonsai supplying the standard grade bonsai tools to the bonsai beginner, it's material is 3Cr13 alloy steel and carbon steel, handmade by skilled worker from TianBonsai.
